Walk Test

If SMS texting is used on your system, your engineer will have programmed your mobile

number(s) in the engineer menu. This function allows you to change them.

The ‘Walk Test’ function allows the testing of all programmed inputs on the PCX system, and

the dierent arm modes/partitions. To walk test, simply activate a sensor/door contact.

NOTE: If any inputs are failing a walk test, your engineer may need to be called.

Enter the Master Manager Menu >

Use the > b and x keys to scroll to

‘Phonebook’. Press the t key

Enter the Master Manager Menu >

Use the > b and x keys to scroll to

‘Walk Test’. Press the t key

Use the > d key to select the SMS

number you wish to change. Press the

t key

Enter the required arm modes/ >

partitions to walk test. Press the t

key

All the inputs on the PCX system will >

be displayed, walk test each one. Once

all are completed ‘Walk Test Complete’

will be displayed. Press the x key to

exit at any point.

The current mobile number will be >

displayed. Use the b and d keys

to scroll through each digit, to change,

enter the number or to delete press

the c key. Press the t key
